Louisiana's NAACP  state wide conference grew into Rights, Recovery and Renaissance

 

National NAACP - The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.  The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights and there is no racial hatred or racial discrimination.

 

Democracy for America is managing the logistical aspects of Rights, Recovery and Renaissance.

 

Democracy for America - Inspired by the presidential campaign of Howard Dean, Democracy for America (DFA) is a political action committee dedicated to supporting fiscally responsible, socially progressive candidates at all levels of government-from school board to the presidency.

 

Professor Quintus Jett  is assembling the intellectual and social capital to support this event's goals through his MOSAIC Project at Dartmouth College.

 

Mosaic Project - The purpose of the Mosaic Project is to provide information, tools, and direction for those who are assessing and/or serving the needs of those affected by Hurricanes Katrina.  This community is open to any motivated participant.
